About me

Hello, I'm Ellis, the founder and Head Spa Therapist behind Moonstone Head Spa, my home based head spa in Stanway, Colchester. My passion is creating a peaceful space where you can pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself through the art of Japanese Head Spa treatments.

My love for hair started around age 3! Which led me to train and qualify with Toni & Guy Hairdressing. After various ventures, also qualifying in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), I found myself in the corporate world to support my family. However I found myself coming back full circle to my passion of hair, spirituality & helping people.

Moonstone Head Spa was born and my clients have truly made it an incredible journey, it really is more than just a head spa. I pride my self on giving you an experience like no other.

I offer treatments to men and women, whether you have a scalp condition such as, psoriasis, dandruff, scalp acne or if you are looking for the ultimate relaxation treat, I will tailor your experience personally to you and your energy.

I am honored to announce that I recently became a finalist for 'Best New Talent' 2025 for the Hair and Beauty awards.

We have also won 'Spa of the year' award in the London & South East England Prestige Awards 2025/26.
